About the Photos

The photos from the 2004-08 NorthEast Summer Getaway were taken by
the photographer with his new digital camera that he was
experimenting with to learn how to take chess pictures in
low-light conditions. |
|
Chess Tournaments do not allow flashes to be used after the first
5 minutes of the round. The lighting in the tournament
room was adequate for chess but not very good for non-flash
photos. |
|
Typically, even slight motion by people in the photo will result
in a blurry image. |
|
