Our Arrangement with L. L. Bean
|
|
|
L. L. Bean has a
corporate sales department that allows us to have our Logo placed on almost
any item in their catalog. The only restriction by them is that some
items will not accommodate the stitching of the logo. There are some
but not many goods that fall into this category. |
|
|
To obtain the lowest
price possible, we must purchase the items in bulk. The following
outlines the guidelines we must follow:
- An order must have Six or a multiple of Six
of the "Same Item"
- "Same Item" is by the product name so we may mix
any
size, color, men's and women's, long and short sleeve
- Up to two different colors may be selected for the logo
for any group of six items. We have picked our web's
Gold and Blue
- The price of each item is the Logo fee x number of
times it appears plus the regular
cost of the item as shown in the catalog

How Long will it Take ?
|

To take advantage of obtaining
the lowest price to keep the cost down for you, we have selected a small
number of items that we think will have the most general interest in being
purchased. This hopefully will concentrate the orders and allow us to
get multiples of six items for purchase more often. |

Because of this requirement of a
multiple of six items, it may be some time before we may actually place
the order. If at some point you decide that you no longer wish to
for the order to be placed, if the order has indeed not been placed, we will
return your payment to you via PayPal. |

|
L. L. Bean informs us
that the typical turn around time once an order is places is approximately
two weeks after we place the order |

The Sequence of Events
|

|
Here is how our process currently
works. |
|
|

A People place orders
for L. L. Bean items online with payment via PayPal |
|
|
|
B The club
accumulates the orders and posts a list of items currently to be ordered. |
|
|
|
C When any item
reaches a multiple of six the club will place the order. |
|
|
|
D L. L. Bean will
ship the goods to the Club and you may pick up your items at the club on a
Tuesday night. |
|
|
|
|
Note: For those who can not make it to
the club, we can make arrangements for you to pay the club to have your
items shipped to you. |
|
|
|
|
|
Please Remember,
we must accumulate orders for Six or a multiple of Six same item before we can place the order. This may result in a
substantial delay in getting your items ordered. |
