Prize winners for Tournaments 1, 2 and 3:

A total of 50 players (out of 54) were awarded medals for participating in the Summer Program on three or more dates.

A total of 44 players earned a one-year membership in MACA (the Massachusetts Chess Association). Those who are already MACA members will have their membership term extended for one year.

While nine players qualified for free entry into Tournament 4, only six of these actually received the prize by participating in Tournament 4.

While no one won the $50 cash prize, several players came very close and should be recognized. Winber Xu scored 13.5 playing in the Open section all summer. This was a truly outstanding performance. Max Abugov scored 13.0 while also playing in the Open section in Tournaments 2 and 3. Travis Nilsson scored 13.5 playing in the middle section (Under 900 or Under 700), and in the Under 500 section Colin Stanfill scored 12.0. Congratulations to all these players!
